Stuart Little was illustrated by the subsequently award-winning artist Garth Williams, also his first work for children.
It is a realistic fantasy about Stuart Little- no ordinary mouse. Born to a family of humans, he lives in New York City with his parents, his older brother George, and Snowbell the cat. Though he's shy and thoughtful, he's also a true lover of adventure.
Stuart's greatest adventure comes when his best friend, a beautiful little bird named Margalo, disappears from her nest. Determined to track her down, Stuart ventures away from home for the very first time in his life. He finds adventure aplenty. But will he find his friend?
This is a Vintage and Classic 1945 Edition with clean pages, no marks or rips and a good binding. The Dust Wrapper is a slightly yellowed due to age and has a small tear in the left upper corner as seen in pictures which doesn't impact the integrity of the book.
A true Classic and one of my favorites!
